Soup season is almost upon us! Chances are it will be upon you much sooner than it is upon me. It stays hot here in California’s Central Valley through October. But I try not to think about it.

The point is I want you to be prepared. I’ve made a lot of soup recipes over the years. So many that I thought I’d pull some of my favorites together so that you can easily access them.

Some are lighter and more refreshing for those transition days in the weather when fall is knocking but it doesn’t quite step through the door.

Others are full of warmth and comfort using winter squash and even bourbon. So grab the pot and as soon as you are ready to welcome soup season, these soup recipes will be here waiting for you.
